Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) Action is a multi-racial, democratic, non-profit community organization that builds power to fight and stand for economic, racial and social justice. They work to create ground-up organizing to build a strong people’s movement that can create transformative community change.
ACCE approached our agency in early pandemic days to create a series of popular education guides, first addressing housing issues, then austerity cuts.
After being given the text content, we created overall thems as well as visual concepts to illustrate the ideas being represented. We created each guide in English and Spanish as a series of ten continues, interconnected slides that were then distributed via social media.
Leading up to the 2020 elections, ACCE also asked us to create branded imagery to announce their endorsements for various city and state positions via social media and their site, which involved editing high-resolution photos of candidates and giving the same look and feel for a cohesive look. We also created a collage of endorsed candidates who won office in those elections.
